Please note: Since May 2014 I don’t use FLI4L any longer. The following information is only kept for archival purposes.
Here you find some OPTs for FLI4L, which i maintain on my own or which are hard to find elsewhere. If you want to set a link to these OPTs, please link to this page and not directly to the files – thanks!
Since version 3.0 FLI4L supports multiple languages. All OPTs maintained by myself support German, English and some French.
Even when many OPTs are “officially” available for the current FLI4L version and in the OPT database of http://www.fli4l.de (see also http://extern.fli4l.de/fli4l_opt-db3/), another helpful source is http://linuxwiki.de/fli4l.
Important: FLI4L is only intended as a router! Use server packages on your own risk!
OPTs maintained by myself
|OPT_XLED 3.0.1||3.0.x||Using keyboard LEDs as indicators for online state and traffic.|
|OPT_XLED 3.2.0||3.2.x||This version is identical to 3.0.1, just the version check was changed to match FLI4L 3.2.x|
|OPT_XLED 3.4.0||3.2.x||This version is identical to 3.0.1, just the version check was changed to match FLI4L 3.4.x|
|OPT_HDTUNE 3.0.2||3.0.x||Activates the DMA mode for harddiscs in FLI4L 3.0.0/3.0.1.
As a prerequisite the FLI4L package kernel-modules-extra is needed, which contains the neccessary kernel modules.
|OPT_HDTUNE 3.2.1||3.2.x||Activates the DMA mode for harddiscs in FLI4L 3.2.0|
|OPT_PFTPD 3.2.3||3.0.x, 3.2.x, 3.4.0||PureFTP 1.0.21 incl. web interface.
You can also transfer files using SCP with WinSCP or FileZilla – if you just want to install OPT_PFTPD to access the files on your router, you should check out WinSCP or FileZilla first, before setting up a FTP server.
|OPT_TRAFFOUT 3.0.0||3.0.x||Display of the current traffic using LED lines connected to the parallel port. Schematics for building the display are contained in the archive.|
|OPT_TRAFFOUT 3.2.0||3.2.x||This version is identical to 3.0.0 – just the version checking was changed to match FLI4L 3.2.x.|
|OPT_MEDIATOMB 0.2.0||3.4.0||BETA version of OPT_MEDIATOMB – not tested thoroughly yet!|
The following OPTs are not maintained by myself. I just offer them here for downloading. I can not answer any questions about these OPTs, since i do not use them and i also did not create them. Also note, that the documentation is often not offered in english.
|OPT_UMTS 0.0.3 Beta||3.2.0||OPT_UMTS by Alexander Heinz patched for FLI4L 3.2.0 by Hans Kraus, was successfully used with Huawei 220 (maybe works too with Huawei 270, but this could not be tested)
Note: This OPT may need OPT_LIBUSB from the FLI4L OPT database.
|OPT_DREAMBOX 3.0.x||3.0.0-3.0.3||OPT_DREAMBOX by Frank Neubert, based on the old OPT_DBOX2 by Frank Meyer, adapted for FLI4L 3.0.0-3.0.3|
|OPT_PFTPD 0.7||2.0.8||PureFTP for FLI4L 2.0.8 by Florian Zierer.|
|OPT_SAMBA_FS 3.0.0||3.0.0-3.0.3||OPT_SAMBA_FS by Manfred Schliesing, which does not patch OPT_SAMBA_LPD, but extends it by an additional packege, which provides file server functionality. The restrictions of the Samba version of FLI4L still apply (FLI4L is not a server…).|
|OPT_c4jbssh2 0.05||3.0.0-3.0.3||OPT_c4jbssh2 by Manfred Schliesing, a Java based SSH client, which is embedded in HTTPD.|
|gtk-imonc_0.6.4.1-1-ubuntu_9.10-i386.deb||GTK-ImonC as package for Ubuntu 9.10, 32 bit|
